Set up a weekly event once

Clubs run things every week. Until now that meant creating the same event over and over, or creating one and letting its date go stale.

An event can now repeat. Describe the pattern once and the platform generates the dates, keeps the next one current, and sends reminders per date rather than for the series.

One decision shaped the rest: you sign up for a date, not for a series. We built series sign-up and then took it out — it makes a promise on the attendee’s behalf that they never made, and it makes cancellation ambiguous. So a cancellation reaches exactly the people signed up for the date that was cancelled, and nobody else.
