The purpose of the project

Denmark attracts highly skilled international workers and their families, but many struggle to build a social network and understand the unwritten cultural codes. A lack of social attachment also outside of the workspace is one of the primary reasons internationals leave the country prematurely.

Sport In Denmark is an initiative started by 7 sports federations and supported by the Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF). We are building a platform to translate Danish club culture and make it accessible. By doing so, we help internationals find meaningful communities outside the workplace, ensuring they thrive and choose to stay.
